ProdShort is a service provided by Bengeekly LLC ("The Company" or "ProdShort"). Our technical infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services.

2. Types of Personal Information Collected

Name and email address

Billing information

We collect billing information related to your subscription. Payment details such as credit card numbers are encrypted and handled by our payment service provider, Stripe (www.stripe.com). We do not store your full payment details on our servers.

Meeting platform credentials and data

When you connect your Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams account, we collect the necessary authentication tokens to allow ProdShort to join and record your meetings on your behalf. Meeting recording is technically performed by our third-party infrastructure provider Recall.ai (https://recall.ai), which processes your meeting data as a sub-processor on our behalf. We do not store meeting platform passwords.

Recordings and video content

We store the audio and video recordings of your meetings, as well as any clips, captions, or edited content you create using the platform. This content may incidentally contain personal information disclosed by participants during the recording.

Usage and device information

We collect data about your activity on ProdShort (pages visited, features used) and device/browser information to improve the product and assist with debugging.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Providing, operating, and improving the ProdShort service, including recording meetings, generating clips, and adding captions.
Processing payments and managing subscriptions.
Communicating with you about your account, service updates, and support inquiries.
Analyzing usage patterns to improve the platform and user experience.
Complying with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with the following third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform: Recall.ai (meeting recording infrastructure), Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting), and Stripe (payment processing). Data is shared only to the extent necessary to provide our services. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data processing obligations.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and recordings for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the service. Upon account deletion, we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
