Terms of Use

ProdShort is a service provided by Bengeekly LLC ("The Company" or "ProdShort"). The Company may revise these terms of use for its service at any time without notice. By using this service you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Use.

Bengeekly LLC is a limited liability company registered in the United States. Our technical infrastructure is provided by Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare.

1. Use License

Permission is granted to access and use the ProdShort platform for personal or business use, subject to these Terms. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify, copy, or redistribute the platform's software or materials;
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code from any software contained on the platform;
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials;
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server;
• Use the platform in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by The Company at any time.

2. Service

ProdShort is an online platform that allows Users to automatically record online meetings (via Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other supported platforms), and create short video clips from those recordings with custom branding, AI-powered captions, and professional templates. Meeting recording is powered by Recall.ai, a third-party service that provides the bot infrastructure to join and capture meetings on the User's behalf.

By using ProdShort, you authorize the service to join your scheduled meetings as a recording bot on your behalf. You are solely responsible for informing all meeting participants that the meeting is being recorded and for obtaining any required consent in accordance with applicable laws.

ProdShort could not be held responsible for any legal consequences resulting from the User's failure to obtain proper consent from meeting participants before recording.

ProdShort could not be held responsible for technical damages, including but not limited to: recording failures, quality degradation, disconnections from third-party meeting platforms, or any interruption of service beyond our reasonable control.

3. User Content & Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the recordings and video clips you create using ProdShort ("User Content"). By using the service, you grant ProdShort a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are solely responsible for the content of your recordings and clips. You agree not to use ProdShort to record, store, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes on the rights of any third party.

4. Account

You may need to create an account to access ProdShort's services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

5. Billing

ProdShort offers a free tier (Freemium) and paid subscription plans. Subscription plans and their conditions are detailed on the ProdShort pricing page at https://prodshort.com.

Subscriptions will be automatically renewed at the end of your monthly subscription term. All charges are non-refundable — there are no refunds or credits for periods where the User did not use an activated account, used it only partially, or cancelled the subscription during an ongoing payment interval.

By adding a payment method to your ProdShort account, you consent to be charged for any active subscription. We will automatically attempt to collect any unpaid invoices when a new payment method is added.

6. Cancellation

Users can cancel their subscription or delete their account at any time from the platform settings or by contacting us at support@prodshort.com. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period. Identity confirmation may be required.

7. Disclaimer

The materials and services on ProdShort are provided "as is." The Company makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

8. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall The Company or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use ProdShort's service, even if ProdShort or a ProdShort authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

9. Third-Party Integrations

ProdShort integrates with third-party services to deliver its functionality. Meeting recording infrastructure is provided by Recall.ai (https://recall.ai), which acts as a data processor on our behalf to join and record meetings. ProdShort also integrates with meeting platforms including Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. ProdShort is not responsible for the availability or functionality of these third-party services.

10. Modifications

The Company may revise these Terms of Use at any time without notice. By continuing to use the service after changes are posted, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

Any claim relating to ProdShort's service shall be governed by the laws of the United States without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

By using ProdShort, you commit to use the service in accordance with these principles. On its side, The Company undertakes to provide a reliable service and comprehensive communication.
